Mt. Houroku is one of my favorite mountains.
This mountain is introduced in the guide book called “130 mountains in Aichi Prefecture”.
Mt. Houroku is a low mountain and that is 683.5 meters above sea level in Toyota City.
There are some climbing trails, Creation Path, Strength Path, Sympathy Path and Common shortcut in Mt. Houroku climbing trail.
Enjoy the view of Mt. Ontake, Mt. Ena, Toyota City, Nagoya City and so on from a tower of the 21st century (observatory) in the top of the mountain.
Be careful in walking if top of the mountain is covered with the snow in winter.
This cache is hidden near the top of the mountain.

Shoes and gloves are necessary.
