This class is an introduction to the basics of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife). GSAK is a software program used to manage, sort and filter caches in a database format. Hundreds of caches can be downloaded into a GPS in seconds. Also get paperless caching with a Garmin Nuvi automotive GPS unit and much, much more. Any serious cacher will tell you that GSAK is the second most important tool used to seek out a geocache. Obviously the GPS is the most important.
For those of you who don't know about or never heard of GSAK, you need to be here. For those of you that have heard of GSAK but are not using it or don't understand how to use it then this class is for you.
For those of you who may want to learn some basics about GSAK, we will have an introduction to GSAK class prior to the meet and greet. If you have a laptop, go ahead and download the program at www.gsak.net ahead of time and bring your laptop with you, wireless internet will be available. The GSAK program is free to download.
