Geocache Description:

The area around this cache is an Illinois Land and Water Reserve so
PLEASE DO NOT GO OFF THE TRAIL TO SEARCH FOR THE CACHE
(you don't have to).

This cache is located in James 'Pate' Phillips State Park. This Eagle Project was designed and built under the leadership of a scout from Troop 66 of Bartlet, IL. It is a fair walk on grass trails in a restored prairie, wet land zone.

This cache is part of a series of 12 caches highliting Boy Scouts of America Eagle Projects from the Three Fires council area. An Eagle Project is a service project that a scout plans & carries out for a not-for-profit organization that allows him to use the leadership skills he has developed during his journey. This cache is highliting an Eagle Project from Troop 66 of Bartlet. This cache resides in Chippewa District which is part of Three Fires Council in St. Charles, Illinois.

This cache is part of the Get Into The Game geocaching game that Three Fires Council is putting on. Each cache will have one digit to a 13th Puzzle Cache. With your 1st find you will able to purchase a "Get in the Game" patch at the Three Fires Council shop. The 13th cache will have a certificate that will allow you to purchase a limited edition trackable coin from the scout shop. Only those who complete the series will have one of these collectable 100th annivesary coins.
