Geocache Description:

This cache is placed with the permission of Devon County Council Coast & Countryside Service.
The cache is located on the Tarka Trail to the South of Bideford.
As the trail follows an old railway alignment (thanks Dr Beeching!) it is all easy walking, or cycling, and the tarmac surface means no muddy boots.
Car parking in Bideford is recommended, though for a shorter walk you can park at Landcross near the bridge over the Pill.
Either way taking in the cache at Tarka Tunnel is not too onerous (Thanks to PKLONG)
The cache is a small plastic box containing the usual log strip, pencil and a keyring, toy parachute, postcard and “Mummy I’m bored” travel bug when placed.
Good Hunting but watch out for Muggles including the wheeled variety.
