The Goolgowie Street Bushland Reserve is a small Council reserve of
just over 5 hectares, linear in shape and varying in width from 20
metres to 160 metres. The eastern end of the reserve comprises two
narrow arms of creek frontage.
A small playground adjoining Yambill Avenue is contained within the
reserve. From this point a footpath crosses the main section of the
reserve emerging at Goolgowie Street. An elevated boardwalk about
100 metres long was constructed in 1991enabling a wet section to be
negotiated. This footpath now forms part of the newly developed
Two-Bays long distance walking track from Port Phillip Bay to
Bushrangers Bay.
