For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has helped youth become more than they ever thought possible. And we’ll continue that journey into the next century.
The Venturing program is open to young men and women between the ages of 14 and 20. It is a unique program because it uses extreme outdoor adventure and other Crew focused activities as a method for building character, peer-to-peer bonds, and independence. Geocaching Crews are a great addition to the Venturing Program! This cache is placed in hopes that all young men and women will venture forth to do great things.
Welcome to Latimer High Adventure Reservation! This facility offers exciting opportunities for Venturing Crews. It is located on 1500+ acres of pristine wilderness on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee and offers rappelling, rock climbing, mountain biking, backpacking, adventure racing, whitewater rafting, wilderness survival, shooting sports, and team building.
There is a Get in the Game! Geocoin as a FTF. The container holds scout and camping related trade items including unique patches. Approximately 1 mile from the cache you begin to see No Trespassing Signs and blazes indicating you are on Latimer property. Please note you have explicit permission to hunt this cache, please do not go beyond the gate.
