This flash mob will have an Edgar Allan Poe theme. Along with the FLASH element there will be a guided tour of the Lost River Cave Valley with a few event caches relating to Edgar Allan Poe hidden through the valley. This is a free event and is welcome to everyone. This event is being held as part of the (Pod Cacher) World Wide Flash Mob project. The (Pod Cacher) is an hour long weekly pod cast that is available on I tunes or their web site. The event will be held on May 15 at 10:00 a.m. sharp and end at 10:15 am. The idea is for a mob to form suddenly, hang around for 15 minutes and then disperse just as suddenly. There will be a little more involved than that. I have noticed there are a few new cachers in the B.G. area and I am urging them to come out to the event to meet the local caching community. Please arrive well before the 10:00 am starting time and park down past the picnic table and kind of mingle with the regular park visitors. At 10:00 am every needs to rush to the big water wheel for a group picture, sign the log. At 10:15 every needs to move to the picnic table area behind the visitors center for hot dogs, chips, drinks and geo chat. After everyone is ready the guided tour will get underway. This is meant to be just a fun and light hearted event to welcome the new cachers in the area and reconnect with other cachers in the community. If anyone has the new frs walkie talkie please bring them. The freq. for the event will be channel 11. We can be sneaky without anyone knowing what's happening.
In the event of rain the event will move into the blacksmith shop beside the picnic tables.

I think the last flash mob went very well and I think the location is perfect. I would really like to thank the Lost River Cave and it's staff for welcoming gocaching to the cave with open arms. I can honestly say that they have bent over backwards to give me what ever I wanted.
