Geocache Description:

A difficult cache from Team Knotty in the Sandia foothills. You don't need any sort of special equipment, but you should have some bouldering experience to reach this little bugger. Not really dog friendly (sorry Moki).

A friend showed me this spot a few weeks ago, and I realized it definitely needed a cache. Due to the fact that even though we've been there several times we still had trouble finding it, I'm making the difficulty and terrain pretty high. I also used the D/T tool provided by geocaching.com. Because of the terrain it was difficult to get accurate coordinates, but we took many readings and these are the average. Please let me know if you disagree with the rating. This is a really cool location, a few hundred feet up from the parking lot at the end of Menaul. There was a lot of snow when we placed it, so it is doable in bad conditions but very difficult. Hope you enjoy it! Signed, The Ever So Bouldery Team Knotty!

Added 1/27/10: In the way of help, the container is a clear green decon sized official geocaching.com container (a christmas present). It is hanging in its hiding spot. We're going to make this one members only for a little while to see who's looking into it. We meant this to be hard! I'm not stingy with the hints, I do mean this to be found, so please email me for tip!!

Congratulations to Cyclegreen for the FTF!!
