La riserva naturale orientata di Bosco Solivo è un'area protetta di circa 334 ettari posta tra i comuni di Veruno e di Borgoticino, istituita con una legge regionale nel 2006. Comprende dei bei boschi di pino silvestre, castagno, robinia e quercia solcati da una buona rete di sentieri che permettono di passeggiare nella natura senza eccessive difficoltà. Si possono vedere i resti delle trincee della "linea del Ticino" scavate dai soldati tedeschi durante la seconda guerra mondiale, il belvedere dal quale è possibile avere un piccolo scorcio sul lago maggiore, i resti della chiesa di San Zeno ed i resti della torre del Vignolo.

Per raggiungere il punto di partenza è necessario imboccare la dalla "Strada delle Lepri", una via sterrata che collega Revislate a BorgoTicino tagliando in due l'area di Bosco Solivo.
Consiglio di imboccare la strada dal lato di Revislate (WP2) e di percorrerla lentamente per circa 2 km. La strada è sterrata e presenta qualche buca ma è tranquillamente percorribile con qualsiasi automezzo.
Le coordinate del listing si riferiscono al parcheggio (unico punto nel quale è consentito lasciare i mezzi) dove è necessario consultare in dettaglio la bacheca informativa.
Il geocacher attento saprà leggerla da un punto di vista inusuale per i più.
Da lì in avanti la passeggiata diretta al primo step e quindi alla cache impegnerà circa 30 minuti per una percorrenza di 1,5 km sempre seguendo i comodi sentieri.
Il primo step è posizionato qualche metro fuori dal percorso e le coordinate del punto finale sono nascoste dentro un piccolo contenitore plastico ben nascosto.
Non rovistate in ogni luogo ma cercate il simbolo

La cache allo step finale è un contenitore cilindrico bianco del volume di circa 1 litro posizionata a circa 1,5 metri dal suolo.
La ricerca di questa cache, grazie ad un bosco generalmente sgombro da rovi ed a terreno non pericoloso è adatta per tutti, dal geocacher esperto alle famiglie con bambini.
E' anche possibile approfittare, particolarmente nella bella stagione, dell'area attrezzata con tavolini da pic-nik presente vicino al parcheggio.

The "Bosco Solivo" natural reserve is a protected area of approximately 334 acres located between the towns of Veruno and Borgoticino, established by a regional law in 2006.

To reach the starting point you need to take the "Road of the Hare", a dirt road that connects Revislate to Borgoticino bisecting the area of Bosco Solivo.
Council to take the road from the Revislate's side (WP2) and drive slowly for about 2 km. The road is unpaved and has few holes but is easily passable by any vehicle.
