Geocache Description:

Anyone that knows me knows that I am always running late. So it is with this belated Christmas Cache. I hope to place a new Christmas cache each year. Parking coordinates: N 40' 58.683 W 078' 30.274

This should be an easy cache for everyone if you follow some simple recommendations. First, please park at the posted coordinates. The parking area is a pull off used for the Rails-To-Trails visitors. If you park anywhere else not only is the cache more difficult due to terrain, but I have no permission to cross this property. The cache is approximately .21 miles from the parking area. Heading down the Rails-To-Trails toward the cache you will find a trail leading down to the river (look for the opening in the bank along the trail). Take this trail down to a game/fishermans trail along the river to finish your trek to the cache.

The cache container is very unique, and not just because of the custom paint job. You will need to remove the cache from its hiding place. The opening to the container is on the bottom. Remove the lid which is attached to a string so it cannot be lost. Pull out the log, sign log, replace log, pull string tight from the top and secure lid. Return container to the hinding location. It'll all be clear when you find it! You need to bring your own pencil or pen.
