A simple Coastal Cache overlooking some of the best beaches in the world. Easily accessed from marked walking tracks.
This cache is along White Sands Walk and is one of many walks close by which overlook some of the whitest sand beaches in the world. The cache is smallish white plastic screw top container and is easily accessed from either the Greenfields Beach end or Blenheim Beach end. The cache is about 250 mtrs Nth of the National Park Boundary. There is no need to go rumaging through the bush, the cache is easily accessible from the rock platform where it meets the bush. Care should be taken with the "Geokiddies" as the rocks drop away by a few meters to the north of the GZ (about 5 mtrs from the cache).
The walks can take you from Nelsons Beach at Platation Pt through to Hyams Beach for an Ice cream or coffee at the local shop, take your swimmers and enjoy.
