This was the site of the home of Dr. Scott, the first doctor in Carroll County. All that is left is the foundation overlooking Leesville lake.
This is too good of a location to go without a cache so, after a quick check to confirm that the previous cacher was not going to replace thier archived cache, I just had to hide one here. The cache is a small lock-n-lock type container large enough for small trades. Please make sure the lid is snapped on tight.
Please rehide it well as the previous cache was muggled once!
Pull off the road at the sign. There is a steep bank to climb down to get to the old foundation. You will need to be in the interior of the foundation.
I placed the cache during the winter but it looks like a good place for poison ivy to grow!
Bring your own pen and maybe a fishing pole also!
