Geocache Description:

Mill Run Park, Manlius, NY The Cache has been adopted and reactivated as of 4/16/05.

Mill Run Park is on the south side of the village of Manlius, and runs along Limestone Creek. If you start from the parking lot at the end of Mill Street, you'll see the main path and a picnic area. Past that you will find a playground. Then further on you will come to a maze of trails along the north side of the creek.

There are some quiet spots here and there where you might have yourself a mid-afternoon picnic, and maybe take a nap. Take time to explore all the meandering pathways, and be sure to skip a few stones in the creek. . Trout fisherman may find this an especially inviting location to practice casting flys. Cache is now a film vial until I can find a better location for a larger container. But, it's a much easier trek to it than it was before. Be sure to bring your own pencil.
