Geocache Description:

Come join the Florida Geocaching Association for a day of fun, food and geocaching.

This location was picked for several reasons: the number of wonderful geocaches in the area (thanks to MEAN GREEN MACHINE); it is centrally located across the Panhandle of Florida; and it offers so much in the way of Florida history. The Forest Capital Museum State Park and Cracker Homestead will be our hosts for the day along with your North Florida Reps Paintfiction, LionsLair and Tallahassee-Lassie. The State Park is conveniently located off of US-19 (or 27 or 98) in Perry, Florida.

Our "Meet & Greet" will start around 10 with lunch around Noon. We'll wind up some where around 2. This will give you plenty of time to go out geocaching and to check out the Museum and Cracker Homestead.

FGA will provide the main course plus plates, napkins, plastic wear, condiments and ice. We ask that everyone attending this event please bring a dish to share. Based on your last name, please bring the following:

* A-E Desserts
* F-J Potato/pasta or other type salad
* K-O Drinks - Tea, Sodas, Fruit Drinks and Water
* P-Z Veggies or fruit and dip

Along with your GPS and queries don't forget to pack your lawn chair.
Check out the FGA website for more information about accomodations (hotels and campgrounds) and updates.

See Y'ALL there!!!!

Update 2-8-10: posted info on the FGA forums. Check it out here.
