UPDATE February 19, 2012: Replaced with new container and hide technique. Container is large enough to hold small trackables and trade items.
This is the third and final cache in my three-cache Slap Stick series. When I was in high school and even during my early years of college, my brother buoybob and I played a lot of street hockey with our buddies from high school and church. It was probably the most fun I've ever had in my life, and I have a ton of great memories of playing street hockey with the boys.
Each of the three caches in this series was placed at a memorable street hockey location, and the series represents the progression of our involvement with the sport.
The third and final cache in the series is located at the Skate Station in Carriere. Little did we know at the same time we were playing street hockey on our lonely little basketball court, the sport was experiencing growing popularity at the local skating rink, complete with street hockey camps for the kiddies and pick-up games for "kids" our age. A friend of my brother's was playing at the Skate Station, and we got an invite. We never turned back! It was a nice change playing in such a big "arena" with air condition, walls, full-size goals complete with dressed-out goalies, etc. That was a lot of fun. We even played in a tournament on the Gulf Coast. We got killed, but it was an experience I'll never forget. Maybe one of these days I'll get back into it.
You are looking for a camo, magnetic Similac container, which is slightly larger than a match case (I have a three-week-old little girl, hence the Similac container). Log only so bring your pen.
