As I approached the area that would eventually become ground zero, suddenly something loomed before me that made me say: "Wow, now that's not too shabby!" See if you agree.
This is the spot I had always planned to plant a cache in this great preserve but "I couldn't get there from here." Until now. Duhhhhhhh. (See GC233ZE). Do you recall your HS Geometry? There is a property that states: "The shortest distance between two points is the straight line segment that joins them." (At least on a plane). Does that apply here???
Depending on how you plan your assault, this cache hunt could be: (a.) cake (b.) moderate (c.) just about impossible, (but doable?). There's that geometry again. On the day of placement, I chose (b.) and it took less than twenty minutes to get to the site, (one way), at a leisurely pace. No bushwacking. Great views. At one point you apparently find yourself below water level! Weird. No water hazards or wet spots today though, (rainy season could kick things up a 'bit). Oh yeah, on the way back to the car something BIG ran away from me through the brush. (!?)
