You are looking for a small container on SWFWMD property. Log only-BYOB.
Old trees have a certain character that makes you want to just hang out and enjoy the slow movement of time. This is one of those trees.
You can't park right at the site-you could park in Downtown Longleaf and bike to the SWFWMD gate. The waypoint is below. Cross the gate on the hinge side (their policy), then lock your bike just down the trail. From there enjoy the walk. I would hike-the trail is a bit unpredictable.
While placing the cache I ran into (literally) small groups of Deer and Turkey. It is a beautiful and out of the way site. The land is SWFWMD land-but once there do not cross any gates within the perimeter-it has some private lands adjacent.
