Geocache Description:

At the beginning of this four stage Multi-cache you'll learn about the history of Powers creek and the confrontation which resulted in the death of a young RCMP officer, Constable Niel Bruce. This Multi-cache is intended to show others a little bit of local history as well as the beauty, Powers creek has to offer.

In order to find the cache you'll have to go to the start location and answer 9 questions about Constable Niel Bruce and Powers creek.

B. How long did Spears Elude Police? __ Days.

C. What year did this tragedy happen? 196_

D. How many letters are in the First word of the bottom right picture on the Flora and Fauna info board? __

The Cache is well placed and may take a sharp eye to catch something not quite right. Once found you'll find a large lock & lock container which has the usual log book and tradable items. There is also a camera provided for you to take a picture of you and your friends.
