Aa-Strang cache Multi-Cache
Broosha: Vandalism has resulted in no less then 3 points being molested.
The tour can still be made for personal pleasure, but i will archive this Aa-Stang cache untill further notice.

Bij slechter weer bleek WP2 niet te peilen. De vraag is daarom aangepast tne behoeve van de duidelijkheid
De wandeling voor de Aa-Strang cache voort u een stukje door het prachtige agrarische landschap van de Gemeente Voorst, behorende tot Gendringen. Het gebied, nu nog door de landbouw en veeteelt bepaald, is nu een belangrijk uitgaansgebied voor liefhebbers van natuur en rust.
Het gebied heeft een rijke geschiedenis die terugvoert tot ongeveer het jaar 1000 toen het deel uitmaakte van de Heerlijkheid van Gendringen.
De wandeling loopt een stuk langs De Aa-Strang die tevens de grens van Nederland en Duitsland markeert. Deze grens wordt nergens overgestoken en u blijft dus op Nederlands gebied lopen.
De cache route loopt hoofdzakelijk over smalle paden waar geen of nauwelijks verkeer is. Alleen het laatste stuk loopt via een overwegend rustige, maar doorgaande landweg.
Blijft u hier dus aan de kant lopen. Vanwege de vogelrijkdom is het aan te raden een verrekijker mee te nemen!
Voor de cache hoeft niet te worden gegraven of over hekken te worden geklommen: blijf dus op de paden.
De cache route is uitstekend geschikt voor wandelaars, fietsers en minder validen; let echter wel op de afstand, deze is ong. 5 km.
Alleen de cache zelf is niet voor rolstoelgebruikers toegankelijk. Een foto van de cacheplek is dan voldoende om deze toch als “found” te mogen loggen.

Weather conditions could prevent finding WP2. Therefore the question has been changed
The Aa-Strang cache route leads you through the beautiful landscape with farms in the surroundings of Voorst in Gendringen. This area is loved by people who appreciate rest and nature. The history of Voorst goes back towards almost the year 1000 when it was part of the Heerlijkheid Gendringen. You will walk along a small part of the Aa-Strang and doing so along the borderline between Holland and Germany. You will never cross the border and will stay on the Dutch side.
You will walk mainly along small paths without traffic. Only the last part you will travel on a more busy road used by the locals.
Because of the richness of birds it is highly recommended to take binoculars with you.
There is no need for digging or climbing: please stay on the path at all time.
The route is extremely useful for travellers by foot, bicycle or wheelchairs, but please be aware of the distance appr. 5 km.
The cache itself can’t be reached by wheelchairs but a picture of the final spot is sufficient to be alowed to log this cache as “found”
