Estas 3 calles (Calle Medes, Baixada de Briz y Calle de Arnold
Schönberg) forman la ruta alternativa para llegar al Parc
Güell, eso sí, sin los lujos de las escaleras
mecánicas de la Baixada de la Glòria y con una
durísima pendiente del 20%.
Sin embargo, la ascensión al Parc Güell por estas
calles supone una experiencia mucho más gratificante que la
masificada Baixada de la Glòria donde pelotones de turistas
se arremolinan para subir por las escaleras mecánicas.
Subiendo por estas calles podréis vivir el auténtico
ambiente del barrio de Vallcarca y descubrir cosas que no
veréis si subis por la Baixada de la Glòria.
Por ejemplo, en el número 22 de la Baixada de Briz
podréis encontrar la casa donde vivió el compositor
austriaco Arnold Schönberg, un edificio modernista del
arquitecto Salvador Valeri, donde Schönberg compuso algunas de
sus obras más célebres, como Moises y
Aarón.

Otras curiosidades, oficialmente en la Calle Arnold Schönberg
no vive nadie, ya que las entradas a todas las viviendas
están en las calles annexas (Sostres, Verdi y Coll de
Portell)
El cache está situado en lo más alto de estas 3
calles, muy cerca de la que fue la casa del compositor Arnold
Schönberg. Desde allí disfrutaréis de unas
vistas increibles miréis donde miréis (Parc
Turó del Putget por un lado y calle Verdi por el otro
lado).

¡ADVERTENCIA! El mejor momento para ir en busca de
este cache es entre semana. En fin de semana puede haber un
índice más alto de turistas. De todo modos, aunque
penséis que la zona es tranquila, vigilad con los vecinos de
la Calle Verdi que podrían estar mirando vuestra sospechosa
actividad. ¡Vecinos curiosos!
Por favor, dejad el cache EXACTAMENTE como lo encontrásteis,
para que no pueda ser descubierto por ningún geomuggler.

These 3 streets (Calle Medes, Baixada de Briz y Calle de Arnold
Schönberg) form the alternative route to Parc Güell,
therefore without the Baixada de la Glòria comfortable
escalators and with a very hard 20% slope.
However, this way to Parc Güell is much more rewarding than
the standard one (Baixada de la Glòria, where you will find
plenty of tourists going up the street through the escalators) If
you decide to go through these 3 streets you will feel the genuine
Vallcarca way of life, with no sign of tourists, and you will
discover things you won't be able to see if you go through the
escalators.
For instance, if you go to the number 22 of the Baixada de Briz
you can find the house where the Austrian music composer Arnold
Schönberg lived. It's a modernist house made by the Spanish
architect Salvador Valeri, where Schönberg composed some of
his greatest pieces, such as Moises and Aaron.

Other interesting facts: Officially, no one lives in the Arnold
Schönberg street because all the flat entrances are located in
the nearby streets (Sostres, Verdi and Coll de Portell)

From there you will enjoy beautiful sights of the Turó del
Putget Park and the long Verdi Street.

WARNING! The best time to go and seek this cache is during
the week. During the weekend there can be a higher index of
tourists. Anyway, although you might think it's a quite place
beware the Verdi street neighbours, as they can be looking from
their windows your suspicious activity. Curious neighbours!
