Geocache Description:

This cache is being placed to bring cachers to one of Dallas Oldest Cemeteries. This is Oak Cliff Cemetery. Every old cemetery just calls for a cache. This should be an easy Park & Grab. Bring your own pen.

This cache is dedicated to Oak Cliff Cemetery and William Robert Houston one of eight children General Sam Houston and Margaret Lea Houston had. Robert Houston was visiting some family in Oak Cliff and became sick and died on March 8, 1920. Not having much money he was lad to rest in Oak Cliff Cemetery.

Look for the cache, and then look for Houston's grave marker. It is located about 18 paces north towards 8th street form the cache. Look for William Robert Houston. Pay your respects to the son and family of one Texas' most famous Texans. This is the purpose of this cache.
