Celebrate the adventure of Scouting! For 100 years, the Boy
Scouts of America has helped youth become more than they ever
thought possible. And we’ll continue that journey into the
next century.
The Cub Scouting program is uniquely designed to meet the needs
of young boys and their parents, offering fun and challenging
experiences that inspire confidence and teach important values. If
you have a son between the ages of seven and ten that likes
camping, hiking, fishing, and swimming, consider signing him up!
The time you invest in him today will make a difference in the
person he becomes tomorrow.
One of the highlights of the Cub Scouting program is the annual
Pinewood Derby. This location of this cache offers visitors a
spectacular exhibit of the time-honored Cub Scout tradition; a
tradition suited to the WLACC council as the very first pinewood
derby was held here.
In addition to Cache to Cub Scouts, we’ve hidden four
other caches highlighting Scouting programs. Find all five! Search
WLACC, Treasures of Scouting. And join us for our 100th Anniversary
Celebration. Learn how at Scouting.org/100years.
The Cache is a small Tupperware Container and is meant for
beginners, so the hint is a dead giveaway. Please handle with care
and replace it as you found it.
