Celebrate the adventure of Scouting! For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has helped youth become more than they ever thought possible. And we’ll continue that journey into the next century.
The Cub Scouting program is uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys and their parents, offering fun and challenging experiences that inspire confidence and teach important values. If you have a son between the ages of seven and ten that likes camping, hiking, fishing, and swimming, consider signing him up! The time you invest in him today will make a difference in the person he becomes tomorrow. Every scouting service center offers resources for boys to engage with Cub Scouting as well as activities to promote the character development scouting is renown for. The cache is located just outside of the Antelope Valley Service Center. Finders are eligible to enter a weekly drawing for a limited edition trackable geocoin celebrating scouting's first 100 years. Upon signing the log, as inside the service center for details on entering.
In addition to Cache to Cub Scouts, we’ve hidden four other caches highlighting Scouting programs. Find all five! Search WLACC, Treasures of Scouting. And join us for our 100th Anniversary Celebration. Learn how at Scouting.org/100years.
The cache is a Nano container but should still be easy for beginners. At any rate, the hint is a dead giveaway.
