Geocache Description:

Jenkins Creek Park is a 23 acre park previously owned by King County Parks, and transfered in 2003 to the city of Covington. Unfortunately, it has been badly vandalized, and is in need of a clean up.

Project: We will be doing a general litter clean up, and clearing out invasive plants.

Time and Place: Meet at the above coordinates at 9:30 AM to sign in. The event will be from 9:30 AM to 12 Noon.

What to wear and bring? Long pants, boots, and water are a must. Dress to get dirty! Raingear and layers depending on weather. Bring work gloves if you have them. I will be bringing trashbags, and possibly snacks as well. Covington Parks will provide tools for invasive plant removal.

This event is sponsored by the Washington State Geocaching Association. If you are a geocacher in the state of Washington, please consider joining WSGA. See the WSGA website for details.
