A great portion of the Estancia Valley can be seen from this vantage point, running 60 miles north to south and 20 miles east to west.
An old highway borrow pit nearby was used to stabilize the roadway with caliche.
Gate turnout nearby for parking off the highway. Caution: lotza muggles driving by, and curious.
