Wu Fen Suspension Bridge was built in 1918, is one of existing site of suspension bridges cross over the Keelung River in Taipei City. Its establishment was for coalmine transportation in Neihu region.
It was broken by typhoon in 1967. Currently only the pillar at the north bank is remained. Now this site is the historical evidence of industries development in Neihu.
Hunters can take MRT Wenhu line to Donghu Station. Take No.3 Exit. Follow GPSr to N 25° 3.952 E 121° 36.831. Then go through the underpass. You will know where the Wu Fen Suspension Bridge is. It’s about 10 minutes by walk.
You also can ride a bike or drive a car to be here, but please beware of traffic and the place you park.
