A cache in the Rural Roots Series. This cache is designed to be a quick park and grab during any time of year.
Although meant to be a quick grab, take some time to appreciate the serenity of the rural Ontario gravel road. Appreciate the sounds of the season. In spring you will hear the rushing waters draining the spring melt from 4+ farms toward the mighty Mississippi. Summer crickets and grasshoppers will leave your ears ringing. In the fall the sounds of nature and the harvest can come in many forms, in this open area in the winter, you’ll likely hear your truck idling as you hurriedly scratch the logbook!
As a fan of the yesteryear series, we thought we would set up something similar with more rural roots and memories.
You should be aware of puddles and barbed wire, but other than that, conditions are great and you should have no worries.
Suggested parking would be on the NW part of the intersection. Have fun!
