Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the “DCNR - Legacy of Conservation” Geocaching Trail (see “Related Web Page” link above). Collect all the Pennsylvania Legacy of Conservation cards – one from each of the 30 caches in the trail – and show them all at one of the validation centers to receive a Legacy of Conservation geocoin (non-trackable). This geotrail will be archived on June 30, 2013.

Bald Eagle State Park is one of the best birding spots in the state. From this cache location one can see the new Nature Inn up on the hill. The Inn is themed to birds and many of the rooms provide a nice view out over the lake ~ where the eagles nest. Cache should be easy, given the theme.
