The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00am and last only a few minutes, so we have to be quick! You are more than welcome to come early, just stay away from the immediate area, and loiter without talking to any other suspecting geocachers.

10:00am - Olivia will emerge wearing her blue travel bug shirt, and with music playing, she will arrive at the posted coordinates. Everyone comes to the grassy area right in front of the jungle gym area. Here you will receive a "party bag." Open the party bag, find the paper and pencil, and complete the log sheet inside. Place the log sheet in the designated collection box. (This is to qualify for the attendance).

10:04am - Sing "Happy Birthday" to Olivia, and eat some cake.

10:07am - Gather for a group photo. We have to move quickly, so listen to the photographer.

10:09am - The "First to Find" right will be discovered and announced.

10:10am - A quick meet and greet. This will also be time to trade coins, travel bugs, and any swag you have brought.

10:14am - The one minute warning will be given, and this will be the time in which we get ready to leave the park.

10:15am - Everyone disappears, leaving no trace of a birthday party taking place.

There is nothing for you to bring, except any trackable items or swag you would like to trade.

I picked this park because it has a nice play area, it is out of the way, and with both sides of Fulton St., the Avenues nearby, and John F. Kennedy Dr., there should be ample parking. Furthermore, Golden Gate Park has numerous caches that are fun and easy to find for anyone who wants to continue caching after the event.

I suggest that you get there with plenty of time to spare, the event is only 15 minutes, so running late is pointless. Seek out the meeting spot before hand. Just so you don't miss any of the fun! Please be conscious of taking any trash away with you.
