Geocache Description:

One in a series of caches along the Whitmore Way designed to “get you walking”.

Next after Ox Pasture. The cache is a small food box container. The path is well signed but an OS map may be needed in places. Be aware that after heavy rain the Glynch Brook does flood. Also this part of the Way can become waterlogged so although passable wellingtons may be needed.
Cache contains log book, pen & a few goodies. It's name comes from the name of the field taken from map of Staunton dated c1843.
Recommended parking is at Corse & Staunton village hall where after a short walk along the A417 toward the village you will pick up the Whitmore Way signs. Using OS map you can park closer but be aware the roads are narrow with few places to park and the verges can be soft.
