Geocache Description:


First down! Ahh, the words that make an offense happy and the defense cringe. As a huge football fan, specifically of the great Dallas Cowboys, nothing makes me happier than to hear those words when Dallas has the ball.

It’s amazing just how seriously we Texans take football, even at the high school level. To get an idea of this, try reading Friday Night Lights, by H.G. Bissinger. A movie by the same name was based on this book and released in 2004.

This cache is also a tribute to an orthopaedist who treated me after I had an injury while, ironically enough, caching. Once you get to the cache location, you’ll see just how appropriately this cache is named.

Given its location, there is HIGH muggle traffic during normal business hours. It is strongly recommended to attempt this cache after normal business hours or on weekends and holidays. Of course, there is no need to enter the nearby business.

You are looking for a small, camouflaged container about 4.5 inches long and 1.25 inches in diameter. There is room for a few path tags, but you will need to bring something to write with. There are two Lefty Writer tags in the container for the first two who want them.
