Your cooperation and adoption of a sound "ethic" in viewing
wildlife is necessary to protect wildlife. This area is the
habitat
of several sensitive wildlife species whose population numbers
are
in serious decline throughout their range. Minimal human
disturbance may cause failure of sensitive bird species to
successfully raise their young to insure survival of the
species.
Please do not approach wildlife and let me know if a cache is
placed in an area that would be harmful or disruptive to any
birds
or animals.
ANY ACTION YOU TAKE WHICH CHANGES THE BEHAVIOR OF WILDLIFE MAY
HAVE
SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES.
The Grassland is becoming well known for its unique recreation
opportunities. Use has increased rapidly in recent years. Please
take the time to educate yourself and others to adopt a sound
viewing "ethic" to guide the use and enjoyment of all wildlife
species. This series is put together to educate you about the
various bird
species that you may be able to see while out caching in the
Pawnee
National Grasslands.
