Brooklyn51 Finds 1000! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Surfer Joe: I have been requested by Anoka County Parks to archive this cache listing. Although they originally approved this cache, it has now come to their attention that it does not meet the requirements of their geocaching policy. In particular it does not meet the requirement that “caches must be placed at least ¼ mile apart.”

You are encouraged to move your cache to another location in the park that meets both the geocaching.com requirements as well as those of Anoka County Parks. Should you do so, please submit another permit application to Anoka County Parks and, if approved, submit a new listing to geocaching.com for review.

Whether or not you decide to find a new spot for this cache, you need to remove the cache from its existing location as soon as possible.

NOTE: If you have any questions, do not reply to this email. Instead, send me an email via my geocaching.com profile. Please include a link to the cache in question so I will know which cache it is regarding. I will not see reviewer notes posted to an archived listing.

Thanks for your understanding,

Surfer Joe

Geocache Description:

Congratulations Brooklyn51 on your first 1000 finds!

Cache Instructions

This is a milestone cache for our friends, Brooklyn51 and their 1000th geocache find. The cache container is an ammo can and has been camo'd with a little silver to mark the occasion. Enjoy the cache and the park. When you finish here, there are a couple Brooklyn51 caches very nearby for you to find.

The final cache container holds a logbook, pencils, a milestone keepsake for Brooklyn51, a prize for the STF, swag, and two geocoins for trading. Please trade even. Trade up.

Congratulations to Brooklyn51 on achieving their first 1,000 finds! When I first saw their caching name pop up on caches close to me, I wondered if they lived in the neighborhood. Since then, we've exchanged quite a few emails where I learned about their avatar (Yuki), how they discovered geocaching and more about this husband/wife team. Then I got the special privilege of meeting them at a couple of caches too - who could forget the FTF attempt on "Hey, Nice ASCII" in the freezing cold together? Thank you for your 45 creative hides and for always including a wonderful handmade crystal creation in them. For those of you that haven't seen one yet, hopefully you will soon be lucky enough to find a cache that they have visited recently as chances are that you can find one that they have left behind. They sparkle so nicely, brighten up the room and make you smile!! Thanks, Brooklyn51, for sharing your talents with the rest of the geocaching world! May you find many more thousands of caches while always enjoying the journey!
