You are looking for a camoed half liter water bottle.
A local cacher who shall remain anonymous has been hinting that the Buck Rock Tunnel would be a good place for a cache. It probably would be but not today. I went south today with good intentions but ran into a locked gate just over a mile from the tunnel. The location is inside the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument boundry. I hadn't allowed enough time today for a two mile hike. Maybe old whats his head will hike it with me at a latter date.
I placed this cache seventy yards off the road at the junction of two BLM roads: 39 2E 34 and 40 2E 11.
The 40 2E 11 leads up to the tunnel site.
The more I looked around this area the more angry I got. There has been alot of dumping up here. I saw couches, TVs, mattresses, computer monitors and a car thrown over the banks. The intersection where I placed the cache looks like a party spot. I picked up enough nickel nuggets to pay for my gas. Lets see how long this one lasts.
