Welcome to Moody Landing. One of several landings maintained by the National Park services in Desoto National Forest on the Black Creek River. Camping is available at no charge, although it is considered good manners to leave a donation. This area, the river anyway, is abound with people during the summer months as many will come and canoe this fine river. Enjoy nature and a great view of the river. Nearby the cache is an information board where the different species of plants and trees are posted, as well as some wildlife and interesting facts pertaining to the Desoto National Forest. this river was used by the first pioneers for logging down to the coast. and if you want to know who they were check out MYSTERY OF BROOKLYN, since your in the area any ways
