Welcome to Lazza246’s First Geocache!
This cache is on the lower section of Beauchamp Park Chatswood NSW.
Beauchamp Park was first Established on the 25th of October 1899. But did you know that 22 years before the official opening there was a slaughterhouse on what is now the playing field! 111 years later the council is planning to develop the park, giving it better spectator seating and more access from the playing equipment to the oval(Hammond Playground).
Ground Zero is a spider prone zone so every time i visit the cache i will clear out the webs but you may want to clear them away with a stick before you put your hands in there.
However this can be very spooky at night when you stick your hands inside a tree whilst thinking about all of those slaughtered cows.... so go caching at night for a extra spooky effect!
There are Picnic tables nearby and a dog park (except on sport days) so bring the Geodogs and the Geokids
The cache is a small Sistema clip-it container. When it was first placed it had a Dodge viper GT2 TB and Flash the Fire Truck TB. Lots of stealth will be required as this is a highly muggle-popular area.
