Geocache Description:

An easy walk from the car park in the V.R Michael Reserve.

Kif inti? (How are you? in Maltese)

pocketrocket&friends' eighth hide brings you to the grounds of the Lalor United Bocce Club, a place where my grandfather was a regular.

Before these Bocce players had such fantastic facilities, they used an old shed on the oval of a local High School.

For many years now, enthusiastic players meet to play, chat and have a coffee with their friends. It is a meeting point for some and for others it is an outlet to forget about the stresses of everyday life.

The tight-knit group here look out for each other and members become life-long friends. My grandfather had the opportunity to meet some great friends during his time at the Bocce club. I remember him taking me and teaching me the sport of Bocce!

The Maltese theme behind the cache is something I have wanted to do for sometime. Finally, I have got a cache here before it got snapped up by someone else!

You are looking for a small round contained camoed to suit its surroundings. I have also activated my first TB, 'Kinnie Bear' to start its journey to this island country.

BYO Pen and please make sure you are careful of muggles, particularly the Maltese players during the day!

Narak iktar tard! (See you later in Maltese)
