Geocache Description:

Cache is obvious, but steep climb and typical Australian bush hazards (eg. snakes, blackberries).

Limited parking, best spot at 36 47.489S, 147 02.459E

This cache is located in a little known former cemetery of the small goldmining hamlet of Freeburgh. Resting here are five of 12 children borne to Emily and Fredrick Dibbins, ranging from 10 weeks old to 12 years old. All passed away between 1861-1875. Fredrick was one of the first alpine cattlemen in the high country and descendents of Emily and Fredrick still reside in the area today.
This site was only rediscovered after painstaking research to find the exact location. Please take the time to read the plaques to learn more about this pioneer family before you hunt for this cache.
The cache itself is located in a very obvious spot once you reach the coordinates and should be an easy find.
