Coyote Den is another cache located in the general vicinity of our first one, Parrish Ancient Ruin. It's a traditional cache but much better hidden because it is in the den. There is a vintage Grouse brass belt buckle for the FTF.
Take SR 66 six miles north of Marienville and turn right on Duhring Road. Drive 4 miles east and park at the gated road on the right. The hike up to the top is steep but even in winter time not impossible. Old horse trails can be seen even in the snow and you can weave your way up to the top using them. Once you find the cache, explore the rest of the nooks and crannies and imagine where the coyotes are hiding now that you've chased them away. :)
