The location of this cache is at the
trailhead to the Poitras Property hiking area. This trailhead was
built as part of an Eagle Scout project. Also another project
involved cleaning up the Historical Society property next
door.
In order to earn the Eagle Scout rank a scout
must:
-Earn 21 merit badges including the 15 in this series,
-Progress through all the previous ranks each of which has
it's
own
set of requirements.
-Serve a minimum of six months in a leadership position
-Plan, organize, and lead other scouts in an approved service
project which benefits the community.
-Pass an Eagle board of review.
CITIZENSHIP IN THE WORLD
Requirements:
- Explain what citizenship in the world means to
you and what you think it takes to be a good world
citizen.
- Explain how one becomes a citizen in the United
States, and explain the rights, duties, and obligations of U.S.
citizenship. Discuss the similarities and differences between the
rights, duties, and obligations of U.S. citizens and the citizens
of two other countries.

- Pick a current world event. In relation to this
current event, discuss with your counselor how a country's national
interest and its relationship with other countries might affect

from national law. Explain the role of international law and how
international law can be used as a tool for conflict
