A straight forward cache located in woodlands near Halstock Mill.
I couldn't find much information about the mill on the internet, other than a title deed document dated back to 1789 from the national archives website with the following passage:
.. a mill, once used as a watergrist mill, now used for spinning thread with the mill house, mill stream and a little garden known as Halstock Mill, together with the orchard adjoining it and a plot of ground with an outhouse and stable on the opposite side of the road in Halstock.
Parking is available for 1 car nearby at N50 52.475 w002 40.040.
Or for a longer walk, you could park at the church in Halstock where I have placed another cache, and walk across the opposite field which brings you out on the lane leading up to the mill.
Cache is at the co-ords at the top of the page, walk down the driveway down past the mill then follow the path into the trees.
Cache is approx 0.4 miles from parking and its quite muddy, so wellies reccommended.
You are looking for a small clip top box only large enough for coins and small TB's.
I don't reccommend doing this one in the dark.
