Geocache Description:

A small plastic food container containing a log book and small swaps

The cache contains a single magnetised plastic letter - which is a clue for my cache Vulcan Power - PLEASE DO NOT remove the letter.

Fenn Lanes is a fast road so care should be taken, there is roadside parking near to cache.

For years the actual site of the Battle of Bosworth has been uncertain, some theories even placing it near Atherstone rather than close to Leicester Council's Battle Centre at Ambion Hill

Now after years of painstaking searching a number of new finds seem to have pinpointed the battlefield, south west of Ambion Hill by Fenn Lanes, and a major re-interpretation of the battle is in progress. Currently the site of the battlefield is private land and should not be entered, but Leicester Council is negotiating site access

Fenn Lanes is an old Roman Road running from the Roman town at Leicester to the Roman fort at Mancetter.

As a member of the Richard III Society it seems appropriate to place a cache near to where Richard met his end.

As for the cache title, I recently found my drive home interupted by an elderly gentleman who pulled out on to Fenn Lanes 15 yards in front of me - we both walked away, but what remains of my car is now the debris you'll find near the cache
