Geocache Description:


This is a two-stage multicache located at the Turkey Creek nature trail in Niceville. The boardwalk is a great place to visit to see nature, and to get away for awhile from the traffic and noise of the city. Click here for more information about the Turkey Creek Park.

Hours for the park are 0630 to dark, Tuesday through Sunday. Closed Monday. And when they say "closed at dark", they actually mean sometime a bit before dark. They post a sign of the variable close time, and it tends to be a bit before the actual time of sundown for that day.

The posted coordinates are for the first stage, which is a virtual stage (no container). If you go to those coordinates and face west, you will see a plaque that includes the relief of a man's head and eight lines of text. The sixth line of text includes ten digits, left to right, represented here as ABCDEFGHIJ. Ignore the letters in the sixth line.

And also a bit of easy math:
X=C-D
Y=J+J
Z=E-B

To obtain the coordinates for the second stage, simply substitute the proper digits in the coordinates below:

The final cache (second stage) is a micro with a logsheet only. Bring your own pen. Most of all, enjoy yourself at this great location.
