Dt.: Recht einfacher Tradi in Haus im Ennstal. Das Museum muss für diesen Cache nicht betreten werden, wir empfehlen aber Euch die Zeit zu nehmen und das Museum zu besuchen.

E.: A rather easy traditional cache in Haus im Ennstal. The museum does not have to be visited, although it´s strongly recommended.

WINTERSPORTMUSEUM in HAUS

Das Wintersportmuseum befindet sich im ehemaligen Zehentspeicher des Erzbistums Salzburg am Schloßplatz und wurde im Jahre 1999 eröffnet. Zusätzlich zum Museum befindet sich im erste Stock auch eine Leihbibliothek. In den Räumlichkeiten des Museums finden auch Veranstaltungen und weitere Ausstellungen statt. Neben einer grossen Anzahl an Exponaten und Fotografien von den Anfängen des Wintersports haben auch zahlreiche österreichische Spitzensportler wie u.a.Helmut Höflehner, Andreas Goldberger und Hermann Maier Schaustücke zur Verfügung gestellt.

English description:

The Museum of Wintersports is situated in an old storehouse dating back to the 16th century. After a thorough renovation it was reopened in 1999, now housing a library as well as the museum. The museum provides space for events and other exhibitions. Among the exhibits are old photographs, winter sport equipment as well as memorabilia of Austrian skiing champions such as Helmut Höflehner, Andreas Goldberger and Hermann Maier.

every Tu, 10 to 12a.m.
every We, 4:30 to 6:30p.m.
during tourist season
Guided Group Tours on request

Entrance fee:
Adults: €1,50
Children: €0,80
Children up to 10 yrs. are free of charge
