Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

How well do you know, or can find the answers to some puzzles about our great 50 United States?

California was the first state to designate a state rock in 1965. Currently all but four states have a state rock, mineral, and/or gemstone. Some have only 1, some 2, and some all 3. Four states, New Jersey, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Virginia have none. Coal is the state mineral for one state and the state rock for another (Utah!).

Match the mineral with the correct state for the correct coordinates. (Wikipedia will help!)

N 40° (SD) (CT) . (RI) (CT) (VT)
W 112° (MA) (DE) . (MA) (NH) (RI)
