Geocache Description:

Lost by GPS #3

The Summit.

Well, our GPS never lets us down when getting us lost.
It has brought us to the most magnificent spot to just sit and take in the view…and oh what a view it is…360 degree views.

Plenty of room to park and turn around at GZ.

The road up is a pretty steep climb in a 4x4, but certainly fun to do. Our 20mnth old boy kept yelling “GOGOGO” and “AAGH” and giggled all the way to the top.

Make sure you bring your camera and binoculars.

This is the 3rd of 4 caches in our “Lost by GPS” series that we have hidden whilst out 4x4ing. Actually, our GPS was getting us lost in the bush. Who said our GPS’s new where to go, not us.

We were out driving on a Sunday arvo and saw a green patch on google map and thought we would investigate.

Well, we found our 3rd ideal location and TOMTOM still has no idea where we are, so don’t blame us if you get lost trying to find this cache…hehehe.

The cache is on a well defined track once you have found #1 then #2 or first #4.

We hid these caches in our X-Trail and as long as you have some kind of 4x4 function then you shouldn’t have any trouble. Bit DO NOT attempt this one in wet weather.

You can do these 4 caches all in one hit, either 1 to 4 or 4 to 1, either way you should be able to get just as lost as we were and find your way out of the bush eventually.

The cache is a 600ml Screw Top container with plenty of room for swaps and has pen/log.
