This cache is known as "Old North End" because years ago, before the sand replenishment and redevelopment, this used to be the home to surfers, locals, lifeguards, and sun-worshipers. It still is, but there is more of a crowd these days due to copious parking and easy beach access.
North End, otherwise known as Atlanticville or Fishtown, is a great place to spend some time. Have breakfast and coffee at the North Beach Grille, Enjoy a delicious slice of pizza or some great iced cream in Ursula plaza, enjoy some surf, skating, and sun at Atlantic Avenue beach, and have a lively Italian meal at Tavolo. Be nice to the locals and they'll be nice to you and if you see a Benny, tell him to go home!
