A small cache hiding in one of those areas you might never visit unless geocaching. You are looking for a small lock-n-lock "tupperware" container.
Almost 50,000 vehicles a day pass this location and only those few that seek will know it is there.
Automobile parking is within 150 feet of the cache.
Terrain is mostly level hard packed grassy with a small amount of step-over step-under bushwhacking as you get near. Carefully consider your approach/direction to the GZ as the cache cannot be obtained using the wrong approach.
Should be out-of-sight of muggles but not out of ear-shot at the cache site. Where are those voices coming from?
An excellent location to practice CITO due to having a big green dumpster near.
For those interested note the nearby Basidiomycota basidiocarps (see hint). A rare sight in urbanized areas. Please do not disturb. June-2011 update the mushrooms are gone.
This cache is hidden in an urban floodwater control plain. This means that it is public land set aside for the collection and flow of high water during periods of heavy rainfall or other flooding. This area has been flood as recently as July-2011 but for most of the time it is high and dry. As such an area the structures at the GZ of the cache really serves as a roadblock. You are interested in the natural roadblocker rather then the man-made one.
Remember to respect wildlife or even the possibility of wildlife especially when reaching for the cache. A good cache hiding place may also be a good hiding place for a creature or two!
