Cache is placed at a viewing area on the very popular Snout walking track off Victoria Domain.
Access- From Picton travel along Waikawa Rd to Sussex St, which is a one-way road entering Victoria Domain. Follow the road up and park at eastern end. Follow Snout Walking Track.
Allow 3.5hrs to 4hrs return, most will be able to do quicker.
Track can become slippery in places if it has been wet.
Well formed track follows ridge-line with usual ups and downs (nothing severe)
Take drinking water, there is no water on route. Be prepared for weather changes.
Near the cache site there are bluffs dropping onto the rocks below.
Cache is a micro, slightly larger than a film cannister.
Contains paper and pencil only.
There is a seat to sit back and enjoy the sounds traffic.
