We'll be setting up a table to tell people about Geocaching and
help to get them started. Even if you've found all of the caches in
Bur Mil Park (and there are some new ones placed recently!), this
is sure to be a fun event. And, if you haven't found them all,
maybe you can bring a couple of newbies with you.
Traditionally held each year on the first Saturday in June,
National Trails Day was established to recognize the value of
recreational trails and the people involved in building and
maintaining them. Whether it's the National Park Service, the U.S.
Forest Service, or a volunteer group, trail preservation is
necessary to keep our trails open to the public and available for
years to come. Greensboro's 13th Annual National Trails Day
Celebration & Trails Fair, 10 am to 1 pm
